Stage - 2

Screen capture - CDWave
Splitting a recorded file using CD Wave Editor.

The tape deck was patched into a Behringer Eurorack MX 802A mixer along with a Technics RS-TR474 stereo cassette deck and a Bush 78rpm record deck which had been modified for transcription. The output from the mixer was put into the back of the computer and the resulting digital audio was recorded using the excellent shareware programme CD Wave, a simple utility that allows wav files to be recorded and then split into smaller sections. All monitoring was done using a Samson Servo-170 studio amplifier and a pair of Spirit absolute 2 studio monitors.
