Durham University Library Archives and Special Collections is a major resource. As well as a large 19th and 20th photograph collection the library also has an extensive rare and early book collection. The manuscripts in the library date back to the middle ages, and include large oriental and antiquarian collections. The library has provided FARNE with a number of 19th song sheets which our researchers have so far not found elsewhere.
