The University of Newcastle upon Tyne has much experience of digitisation, having been involved in numerous projects across the North East. Digitisation for the FARNE project took place within the University’s Bindery section, located at the Robinson Library. The University’s Special Collections has also contributed much important material to the FARNE Archive.
